MBIA offers local government investment pools designed to make the
job of managing public funds safer and easier. Whether the investment
pool is offered by a state, a public-sector association, or through a
cooperative effort among local governments, MBIA has the investment management
and administrative expertise to meet the needs of participants.
Many of MBIA’s local government investment pools
are marketed under the name CLASS (Cooperative Liquid Assets Securities
System). CLASS enables local governments to pool funds with other units
of government, giving them the opportunity to obtain safety of principal,
daily liquidity, competitive rates, and superior service on their short-term
investments. MBIA also serves as the investment adviser/ administrator
to the Colorado Local Government Liquid Asset Trust (COLOTRUST), New Hampshire
Public Deposit Investment Pool and TrustINdiana. |
