Marc Morris
Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director

Mr. Morris joined the firm in 1990 and is a managing director and Chief Financial Officer of MBIA Asset Management. In that capacity, he is responsible for funding and risk management for asset/liability products, division financial planning and analysis, and fixed income operations and accounting. Mr. Morris is also President of MBIA Investment Management Corp., a provider of guaranteed investment agreements, and has managed all aspects of that business since its inception in 1993. During his tenure at MBIA, Mr. Morris has held various positions in business development and finance, where he has analyzed a number of new business opportunities and helped develop and launch three new asset management businesses. Additionally, he spent a year in the Finance Division overseeing MBIA’s corporate investment portfolio. Prior to joining MBIA, Mr. Morris held corporate planning and marketing positions at NAC Re, a reinsurance firm, and financial planning and new product positions at General Foods Corp. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.
