He has previously held several positions at MBIA Insurance Corporation, including head of the Consumer/Mortgage Structured Finance group. Prior to his role within Structured Finance, Mr. Williamson served in the Risk Management area as head credit officer for MBIA’s structured finance business and was a senior vice president in the Risk Management area of CapMAC prior to its merger with MBIA. Before joining the Risk Management area, he was the real estate product manager within CapMAC’s Credit Enhancement group, where he executed business on a broad range of residential and commercial mortgage securitizations. He also spent four years in Standard & Poor’s Residential Mortgage Group.
